What's holding you back?

How would you answer that question?

Would you have an answer immediately or need to think about it?

Last night I had the pleasure of being an exhibitor at one of my regular monthly networking events.

I always prepare a question they can respond to at my booth either on a large pad or through conversation.

Some immediately gravitated toward the board with an answer and others needed time to think.

Answers to the question included not having clearly defined goals, life being hard, fear of success, difficulty selling myself and the inability to set boundaries and focus on what's important and me.

Have you taken a pause to answer what is holding you back?

Stopping is the first step to moving forward.

You could continue with what you've been doing unsuccessfully or at least not getting you where you want to be.

You could continually try new things which could also produce the same results.

Both usually carry frequent frustration and potential regret the longer we put off what we truly want.

Taking the time to answer that question brings clarity on steps you can take to remove or work around your obstacles.

So, what is holding you back?

If you aren't sure, when will you take the time to figure that out for yourself?

If you just answered when, take the next step by adding it to your calendar.

Need help determining what obstacles are holding you back or working on them? Message me to see how you can get on my calendar.

Make it a great day!
