Apparently, there is a holiday in January called Opposite Day. You do and say the opposite. Or, does that mean it really doesn’t exist since they say it does?
Regardless, what if you practiced opposite day when you talk to yourself? Instead of saying there’s no way I can do that, what would happen if you say, I can do that. I am able. I am capable. Rather than saying I don’t know how to start, tell yourself I’m sure I can think of some ways to begin moving forward on what I want to accomplish.
How differently would you feel if you thought you could instead of you cannot?
How would feeling like you can change what you do about the goals you have?
Saying you can and feeling like you are able opens the door to unlimited possibilities. It allows you to create the action needed to get started.
