Excited to hear a no?!?

Hearing a yes is great. Hearing a no is great. Either way, you have an answer.


A yes means you get to now move forward with the plan you both agreed to work on together. A yes means you both understand what is happening next and should have shared expectations of the outcome. A yes means you know how to plan things moving forward for that specific client as well as everything else you need to work on for your business.


A no means you aren’t moving forward with that client…at least for now. A no means the prospective client can always come back to you when and if they are ready to work with you. A no means you get to remove that prospective client from your radar and use your time elsewhere. A no means you get to add more prospective clients to your radar who made need your services.


Both a yes and a no are good. It’s all in how you choose to look at the situation.


Either way you know what is happening. Choosing the view that serves you best may just positively change what happens next.
