Where you are right now is exactly where you are meant to be.
Your actions, the decisions and choices you’ve made have led you to exactly where you are now.
If you want to change where you are, you must change your actions.
People often talk about their desire to change their circumstances. I call it the "I wish" conversation we all have.
Many don’t or aren’t willing to change their actions. That's okay. Others want to but don't know how.
If you want to change where you are in life right now, think of one small step you can take today to get you moving in another direction and change your circumstances.
Don’t make a huge list of changes. This often stalls or limits progress. Instead, pick one single thing you can do differently today.
Do that one thing consistently for a specific amount of time.
Gain consistency in being successful with that one thing.
Once you feel the success of changing that one thing, take that momentum and build upon it by adding another small step.
Do that small step consistently for a specific amount of time. You get the picture.
During this process, decide how you will hold yourself accountable on achieving these small steps.
Think ahead of things that might prohibit you from taking those steps and determine ahead of time how you will overcome obstacles.
Plan. Be prepared. Be purposeful with your actions.
Measure your consistency and continue building upon it until you are able to build larger action steps that stretch you.
You are capable of much more when you are ready to be.
This is one small part of the goal setting process that can take you from where you are to where you want to be.
